The information is also based on Recommendation no. 2/2001 that the European Data Protection Authorities, which make up the Group, established under the terms of art. 29 of Directive no. 95/46/EC and adopted on 17 May 2001 which sets out some of the minimum requirements for the on-line collection of personal data but more specifically, the terms, time and nature of the information that the data controllers shall supply to users when the latter connects to the web pages, regardless of the purposes of the connection.

Place of data treatment

All processing relative to the web services offered by the site is done in the offices of Oz S.r.l., via Hajech, 45, 20129 Milano ("www.oz-design.it"), by specialised operators appointed for this task or by other occasional maintenance operators.

No data that is acquired from our Web services will be notified or divulged to others; any personal data the users supply us with further to their specific requests, is used exclusively for the service requested by them and is only notified to third parties in those cases where it is strictly necessary for the service:

- commercial partners of DomusEuropa, who receive the data in order to carry out the online bookings;

- persons, companies or professional studios, who supply DomusEuropa with assistance and consultation activities as far as book-keeping, administrative, legal, judicial and financial items are concerned;

- persons who are allowed to access to the data by the law or by the authorities;

Types of data processed

Session Data

The IT systems and software procedures, used while operating this website, acquire some personal data during their normal operation; the transmission of this data is implicit when using the internet communication protocols.

This information is collected not for the purpose of being associated to identified individuals, but information whose actual nature may enable users of the site to be identified through processing operations and associations with data held by third parties.

Falling in this category are the following: "IP addresses" or domain names of computers employed by users connecting to the website, Uniform Resource Identifiers of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the web server, the size of the file obtained by reply, the numerical code showing the reply status assigned by the web server (successful, error, etc…) and other parameters referring to the operating system and the user’s IT environment. Personal information, which regard those who visit the site, are neither collected nor used. The visitors stay anonymous. The unique exception regards the information for the personal identification. This information is necessary in order to perform contractual obligations concerning the user’s booking.

If the user books via the website, he is obliged to supply his name, address, telephone number and information concerning the terms of payment and the credit card. DomusEuropa will only use this information in order to elaborate the booking, and in order to send specific important information in order to confirm the booking, as a receipt with the booking code, and the booking terms.

The supplied informations are not used for commercial purposes, they will not be sold, transferred, licensed or forwarded to third parties. There is only one exception: the communication to our supplier for online booking services Travel Click ("www.travelclick.net"), who is responsible for the bookings.

In any case the site’s administrator guarantees the use of scrupulous procedures, in order to protect the navigation data, as well as to pay particular attention in order to protect the data concerning the credit card, which is supplied during the online booking.

Cookies

No temporary or persistent cookies are used with the transmission of personal information, neither other systems for tracking users. The use of session cookies (not saved persistently on the user’s computer and as a rule erased upon closure of the browser) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identification data (consisting of random numbers generated by the web server) required to enable a safe and efficient visit to the site. By using session cookies on this website, which do not acquire the user’s personal identification data, other computer techniques that may potentially be deficient in terms of maintaining confidentiality of the users’ session can be avoided.

Optional provision of personal data

The subjects that the personal data refers to have the right to obtain the confirmation of the existence or not of their personal data at any time, and to know the content and origin, checking the exactness or asking for an integration or update, or the correction in accordance with art. 7 of the Italian Legislative Decree nr. 196/2003.
